Weekend at the Zoo

THE FORT WORTH POLICE OFFICERS' AWARD FOUNDATION PRESENTS THE FIFTH-ANNUAL FAMILY WEEKEND AT THE FORT WORTH ZOO

FRIDAY, MAY 11; SATURDAY, MAY 12; OR SUNDAY, MAY 13, 2012

Family weekend at the Fort Worth Zoo is back again! The Fort Worth Police Officers’ Award Foundation is pleased to honor our community’s police officers and their families by offering FREE zoo admission on a weekend in May.

Each officer presenting their badge at the designated check-in area between 10 am and 2 pm on any one of these dates will receive two adult and two child tickets. Children under three do not require a ticket. Postcards will be mailed to all officers in April. You must bring your postcard to the zoo to receive FREE parking.

In May 2006, the Foundation sponsored its first-annual Family Weekend at the Fort Worth Zoo! We understand the difficulties faced by working parents and busy officers when trying to attend a weeknight activity, like the Annual Dinner, and we believe this event is attractive to more officers and their families and provides greater flexibility for officers themselves to participate.

We are pleased to be expanding the ways in which we recognize officers for hard work and commitment to our community.
